Empathy and competence, from personal and professional experience
Attorney Keating's parents got divorced when he was 15. He has always been grateful to them for a caring, cooperative and genuinely collaborative approach to parenting both before and after their divorce. Those role models served him exceedingly well when his own marriage ended while his three children were still attending the public schools of Marshfield.
That background, coupled with decades of experience in the law, gives him a unique capacity to counsel divorce and family law clients and shepherd them with empathy and competence through often confusing and sometimes anxiety-filled legal proceedings, including (sometimes) restraining orders.
He was a longtime coach for the Marshfield Youth Soccer Program, served as Chairman of the Marshfield Planning Board, and is a former columnist for the Marshfield Mariner. Most importantly, he is the proud father of three daughters.
